Planning a destination wedding in Italy is such a dream for every lover Many of them have probably spent summer holidays on the Amalfi Coast, celebrating their marriage anniversary in Positano, Capri or Ravello therefore, they will forever keep Italy close to their hearts. Others might have made their surprise proposal in Florence or Cinque Terre, celebrating their engagement in Venice. What an extraordinary meaning Italy has for them! The relaxed lifestyle and the beauty have simply enchanted others so that they want to enjoy at most all the pleasures of life.

Most of the destination weddings in Italy are planned for all of these reasons. The main reason behind Ciara and Robert’s destination wedding in Rome was Robert’s surprise marriage proposal. The Eternal city was and always will be one of the world’s most fascinating cities to say ‘’Yes’’ as well as ‘’I do’’.

That day in Rome, was extremely hot. I met Ciara at Harry’s bar hotel overlooking the beautiful Fontana di Trevi. Both got ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen.  The religious ceremony took place in one of St. John’s Lateran church’s chapel. A wonderful choice for a small family wedding.

Alongside their best friends and closest family, Ciara and Robert have promised eternal love to each other. Family and friends, the two most essential ingredients for a day filled with joy. It was a small, very intimate but very sweet destination wedding.

Castel Sant’ Angelo, the Colosseum, Vatican, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish steps… If you would get married in Rome, where would you like to have your couple photos taken?
