Church Wedding in Motovun
There are many beautiful spots for weddings in Istria, suitable not only for elopements but especially for small and intimate celebrations. Many of these can offer a breathtaking view and environment where to tie the knot. The medieval town of Motovun, among the many others examples of Venetian architecture in the region of Istria, is probably one of the most impressive and attractive locations, thanks to the uniqueness and peculiarity of its geographical position.
Situated on the top of the hill, Motovun is surrounded by hills full of green vineyards and numerous olive groves, and the famous valley of the river Mirna. This is literally a paradise for every wedding photographer.
Susana and José have chosen to celebrate their intimate destination wedding here, under the sun of a bright autumn day. They spent the weekend at Villa Borgo, a bed & breakfast which offers a fantastic panorama from the terrace. Both of them were very happy and beaming, and we managed to capture intimate and candid pictures of them getting ready. Here is just a little preview of their special day.
Hairdresser: Frizerski salon Kosa
Florist: Loredana Buzet
